This policy explains how Trusted Media Agency Limited ("Trusted Media", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website and the websites of our brands (including Word of Chat, GEO Agency and Rank in Chat).

What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email, and anything else you choose to give us in a form (phone, company, website, goals, budget, message).
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and the date you agreed.
- How you found us: the page you submitted from and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source).
- Website analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records pages visited and general device information. It is off until you agree.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote: steps taken at your request before a contract.
- Delivering work you have bought from us: contract.
- Sending marketing emails and our newsletter: your consent (the tick box, unticked by default).
- Understanding how the website is used: your consent (analytics cookies).
- Keeping business records: legal obligation and legitimate interest.
We will never send you marketing emails unless you have ticked the box to say yes. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use these service providers to run the business, under contracts that protect your data:
- Base44 (website hosting and database)
- Google (Google Analytics, only with your consent)
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email)
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations apply.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. Client records are kept for 6 years after the work ends, for tax and legal reasons. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@trustedmedia.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
